When I met Ren and Ana for the first time, I saw a young, happy, Chinese couple that was excited to plan for their wedding and proceed to their life together. Little did I know, that they have been together for the longest time and that they already have a 7-year-old daughter, that the wedding they were planning then, has been a dream for both of them.

It wasn’t difficult to work with Ren and Ana, because they we’re sure of every detail that they wanted to do in their wedding. Especially Ana, who was all hands-on with the preparation, from the program lay-out to the music, and everything else! Obsessive compulsive as she may have been, but perfect - for Ren is usually out of the country.

It was a perfect Saturday for a wedding, not too hot and not rainy at all. Ana’s preparing in her suite with her parents and Breanna Louise (their daughter). She was blooming even if she was still in her robe as make-up artist Ian Lipa re-touches her do, for her photo shoot with Photographs and Memories team. In a bit, she was all dressed in white by Zandra Lim and awaiting our departure from the hotel, excited for she knows that her groom, awaits her at the Church.

They say love is sweeter in the second time around, and it is much true to Mac and CeeM who had highs and lows in their relationship as a couple. After all that has been, they came together, stronger and happier than ever. It was a genuine love that transpired against all odds.

It was a bit rainy that Wednesday morning for the wedding preparation at Edsa Shangri-La Hotel and we were hoping that the sun will shine for the best day of Mac and CeeM. The bride was all playful and was game for the early pictorial by B.A. Studios’ team. She played with her bridal bouquet, her veil, with her friends and even made faces in front of the camera. She was a perfect picture of a happy bride. Her bridesmaids helped her into her bridal gown made by Alta Moda in no time and was then ready to meet her soon-to-be husband at the Church.

Mac was indeed waiting for his bride at the church by that time, and he kept asking if CeeM was on her way, and it’s obvious from his smiles and voice, that he can’t contain his excitement and happiness anymore. And his wait didn’t last long as his bride walked down the aisle, slowly, savoring the moment, seeing her groom’s smile that she would not exchange for anything in the world. Just like any other weddings, it felt like time stood still, everything and everyone seemed to be in a slow-motion movement until CeeM reached and held Mac’s hand. A moment that started a new beginning for the two of them - as they become one.

A formal dinner followed at Valle Verde 6 Clubhouse. Design Manila did an excellent job in transforming the clubhouse into an alluring wedding reception venue conforming to the Grecian theme that the couple wanted to have. The reception started by the emcees Mahar and Julz (two of the couple’s closest friends) with the introduction of the wedding entourage, followed by the grand entrance of Mac and CeeM, Toasts, and AVP just before the guests were treated to a lavish buffet by Hizon’s Catering. During the dinner, there were on-the-spot interviews with friends about the couple, games, speeches and much more games that narrated Mac and CeeM’s love story.

Their wedding on December 29, 2010 was a sort of “one day story-telling of their journey together” for it told everyone present there, how they love each other through all these years. Love that they vowed to cherish forever, in the eyes of their family and friends, and above all, in the eyes of Go

As a wedding planner and events coordinator, I’ve always dreamed of something new for my own wedding… something beautiful, timeless, simple yet elegant. I wanted our wedding to be exactly the way we are for each other.

Jeff and I got engaged on April, 2009 and the wedding should have been December of the following year. Although we have been visiting Wedding Expos and exhibits as early as June, we were sticking to the plan of 2010 wedding until he asked me one day, “why not push through with the wedding this year, instead”?…and I thought, “yah, why not?”. Then, there it was, we have booked the church, reception venue and the caterer that we wanted. We were supposed to have a morning ceremony in a hilltop church and treat our guests to a sumptuous luncheon in a garden nearby.
